Used and abused,
Stomped on, trashed,
Ignored for something more interesting, like a flower or a butterfly
It's here, it's there, nobody cares,
"It's just grass", everyone says.
But it's bright and soft,
Cushioning, reliable,
Whether to catch a child when he falls, or support new life,
It's here, it's there, it's everywhere,
And just like grass, I won't be leaving anytime soon.

This day of the poetry challenge was to take a walk, find something outside, and reflect with it. So.. this is what I came up with.
Feel free to critique, comment, or give a possible idea for a name maybe (I'm gonna try and figure one out soon though.)
